Professional Scrum Master certification
To become a Certified Scrum Master, the attendees need to pass the PSM-I exam. This is an online exam for which the price is included in the course.
Preparation for the training:
To get the best Return on Investment on this training, participants are advised to:
- Read the Scrum Guide.
- Read a book about Scrum such as “Software in 30 days” or “Agile Project Management with Scrum”.
- Have some experience working with agile teams.
My Professional Scrum Master I training is intended for people who work with Scrum and need to shape up their knowledge to better collaborate in a scrum team as a development team member or a Scrum Master. This training will provide a theoretical background and many, many practical experiences. The course also includes a free attempt at the globally recognized Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) certification exam.
Throughout the 2-day course, I challenge my students to think in terms of the Scrum principles in order to better understand what to do when back in the workplace. After my training, you will be able to assess if your Scrum implementation is tailored in the correct way. I aim for people to understand “the why” and help you develop yourself, your teams and your company.
My PSM course is much more than just a set of slides and an instructor. In my course, students work on real-life cases with other classmates together as a team. This course is made up of discussions and hands-on exercises based upon real-life cases and war stories from my experience.
This training is provided by Roland Flemm. Roland has broad experience as an entrepreneur and supporting Product Owners in the role of Scrum Master. He currently provides services as an Organisation Design Consultant and Scrum Trainer across Europe. He worked for many companies including ING Bank, Rabobank, Raiffeisen Bank Moscow, Backbase, ABN-AMRO, Independer, DSG, Thales, Volksbank, Reed Elsevier…) He is a strong facilitator and provides lively high speed and interactive training. Each session is tailored to contain everything you need to use in the daily life of a Scrum team. There will be lots of surprises, laughter and deep thinking.
When taking a class from Roland, your personal challenges will be addressed. With many years of experience and through numerous collaborations and research in neuroscience, Roland has enriched the scrum.org training material designed to maximize your learning experience: The material covers the standard contents plus some, your understanding will be deeper and the retention will be better.
Note that in unforeseen circumstances Roland might not be available to provide the training. In that case, we think it is more important to let the training take place with another trainer.
